3rd Annual Victory in Christ Leadership School
The 3rd Annual Victory in Christ Leadership School ended leaving a feeling of joy among the attendees. The event took place from December 5th to 9th in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil. After four blessed days of ministrations from pastors Silas and Elizete Malafaia, the participants went back home willing to apply the knowledge they received in the conference.
The singers Nani Azevedo, Danielle Cristina, Jozyanne, Rachel Malafaia, Eduardo & Silvana, Dayan de Alencar and Marquinhos Menezes & Lilian also participated praising the Lord with their songs.
The goals set for the event were achieved, fulfilling its main purpose: to contribute for a better performance of the Brazilian evangelical leadership. “I planned this leadership school, because I believe the most important investment we can do is in the human being. I don’t produce an event only for the growth of my ministry, but because my dream is to see the Church of Christ growing”, said Pr. Silas to the audience.
The 3rd edition of the event gathered nearly 5 thousand participants, whose 3,000 were fully sponsored by Victory in Christ Ministry. Among them were pastors, their wives and youth leaders.
Pastor Sóstenes Cavalcante, VIC event manager, claimed: “to build and organizing the logistic support for this huge event for almost 5 thousand lecturers is definitely not an easy, task, but watching everything running as the expected, leaves us with a feeling of having accomplished our mission and the assurance that Victory in Christ Ministry once again could establish a historical moment through an event.
600 people with a ministerial calling attended the event, demonstrating that Victory in Christ Leadership School serves both to pastors who already have experience in the ministry, and to the young people who are still in the early ministerial life. One of them is Guilherme Laluce Ribeiro, 18, who is the youth vice leader in his Church in São Paulo who participated for the second time. "This edition has surpassed my expectations. The flow of the Holy Spirit and how God spoke to me was extraordinary," he said.
The program also included the 3rd Women's Conference under the leadership of Pastor Elizete Malafaia. Nearly two thousand women were gathered to participate in the event. Besides pastor Elizete, Rebekah Câmara from the Assembly of God and Myrna Araujo from “Missão Costa da Praia” also took part in the lectures. They addressed important issues such as women's behavior in relation to themselves, family and God. Speakers also answered questions posed by participants.
During the closing ceremony, Pastor Silas Malafaia thanked all the participants for their presence and announced that the 4th edition of the Victory in Christ Leadership School can take place in Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza (CE) or Serra Negra (SP).
